Been a minute

Hey peeps!

It’s been a hot minute since I last posted! Every time I thought about writing, life just kept lifing, and before I knew it, two years had flown by. I kept thinking, it must be too late to just pop back in. But a rare gem came along and gave me the encouragement and push I needed, so here I am 😊.

These last two years? Whew, has been a ride—full of blessings and challenges. But hey, you can’t really have one without the other, right? A major praise moment came in October 2022 when I became a first-time homeowner (an entire testimony on its own!). A whole miracle, honestly. But let me tell you—the struggle was real, trying to make it month to month with a bond that ate up two-thirds of my income. What was I thinking!!!

I remember asking God over and over, “Why open this door if it’s going to be this hard?” But looking back now, especially after that first year, I see His hand so clearly. Every need was met—big or small. And because He’s such a good Father, He even provided for some wants along the way. That season stretched me, challenged me, and deepened my trust in Him as my provider in ways I never expected.

One thing I’ve learned? Challenges are often prep work for the blessing, and blessings always come with their own lessons. Growth doesn’t happen without growing pains and a little discomfort—but it’s always worth it.

At the start of 2024, a good friend shared a perspective shift with me: take the year in quarters. At the end of each one, pause and look back—you’ll start to see the bigger picture, the blessings, the lessons, all of it. So, I gave it a shot, and WOW. Even in seasons where it felt like nothing was happening, I could then see - had precious moments with my babies, little getaways, quality time with family and friends, much-needed alone time, building new relationships, and reconnecting with old ones.

And now here we are—February 2025, with a whole new year ahead. Let’s make it a habit to pause every quarter and take stock of what’s happening. You’d be surprised how much you’ll find to be grateful for when you take a step back. On another note—watching those around me who seek growth and live in faith, seeing how God comes through for them too, is honestly most fulfilling and encouraging!

Here’s to all the growth, lessons, and unexpected blessings this year 2025 will bring! 💕

I am a woman of God but also a sinner who basically strives everyday to grow spiritually, in love, in character and just to be a better person than what I was yesterday :-)

To put in a nutshell I am a mom and a wife who is very much young at heart, sometimes I think I did not have enough time being a child. HAHAHA!
